ÉCLATAUR is a niche perfume house in Sunnyvale, Texas, founded not in a boardroom but from a personal need no existing fragrance could satisfy. The founder spent decades as a collector of fine scent, a personal library marking every season of a life. When that collection was lost in a family relocation to Texas, he did not rebuild it. He set out to create something better.

What began as private study, importing ingredients, building a precise workspace, became a calling when the first bottles were worn by family. People paused. They leaned closer. They asked the only question that matters in perfumery: what are you wearing?

Before ÉCLATAUR there was Fragror, a Texas fragrance diffuser company whose daily work with fragrance oils surfaced a question the founder could not silence: what if I made the perfume itself? He studied, he sourced, and he chose 200 proof food grade organic grain alcohol when every shortcut argued otherwise. The house was founded in Texas in 2020. Every bottle since has been held to the standard of those first creations: made with the care you would give the people you love most.

What we stand for

    Every ÉCLATAUR fragrance is a small batch perfume formulated by hand on 200 proof organic grain alcohol at extrait-level oil concentrations. There are no production lines. Every bottle is weighed, blended, aged, inspected, and released by the same hands that created the formula.

    If the founder would not give it to his own family, it will not reach yours. Every ingredient is traceable, every formula documented, every batch quality-checked before a single bottle ships. Transparency is not a feature; it is the foundation.

  • Performance

    Beautiful fragrance means nothing if it disappears in an hour. The proprietary VELUM system, a 15 layer performance accord engineered into every formula, delivers 10 to 12 plus hours of longevity from the first spray to the final trace.

    Pure organic base

    200 proof food grade organic grain alcohol for sprays; organic fractionated coconut oil for roll-ons. Never denatured, never the cheaper path.

    The VELUM system

    A proprietary 15 layer performance accord built before any individual fragrance is blended, for projection and longevity that outperform concentration alone.

  3. 03

    30 day maceration

    Every batch is sealed and aged a full 30 days. No batch is released early; heat cannot replace time.

    IFRA compliant

    All formulations meet International Fragrance Association safety guidelines, with documented, traceable, verified ingredients.

    Hand inspected

    Every bottle is filled, capped, and inspected by hand. Every unit that leaves the studio has been personally approved.

The 30 day maceration journey

Maceration is the invisible architecture behind every great fragrance: the slow integration of raw ingredients into a unified accord. Most brands skip it or abbreviate it. Here it is non-negotiable.

  1. Days 1 to 3

    Bonding

    Cool room temperature. Molecular bonds form between oil and base.

  2. Day 4

    Inspection

    Sediment and clarity check; filtration if needed.

  3. Days 5 to 30

    Dark aging

    Temperature controlled, light free. Patience becomes quality.

  4. Release

    Quality control

    Evaluated on skin, assessed across the dry-down, then approved for hand bottling.
